Education Made Flexible

Every learning journey is different. We understand that most online students at Purdue are working professionals and may take longer to complete their degrees. Here's what you can expect:

  • Earning an online master’s degree typically only takes 5-7 semesters.
  • Many of our online professional certificates can be completed in as little as 1-2 terms, and usually require only 3-4 courses each.
  • Online doctoral degree timelines range from 3-7 years from start to finish (based on a 90-credit program)
  • Our nationally-ranked online Veterinary Nursing associate's degree can be completed in as little as 9 terms.

Once you finish, you will graduate with a degree or certificate from Purdue University: one of the most pre-eminent higher education institutions nationally and globally.
